The problem

America's port cranes are built overseas

More than 80% of the ship-to-shore and rubber-tired gantry cranes working at U.S. ports were built abroad — the large majority by a single state-influenced manufacturer in China. The U.S. Coast Guard, CISA and members of Congress have identified that dependence as a supply-chain and cybersecurity vulnerability at the nation's ports.

The answer

An American-built RTG

Port Cranes of America — a joint venture of Core Lifting, LLC and Stafford Crane Group — builds the RTG 50 LT inside an operating heavy-crane manufacturing network, with controls engineered by Siemens and built secure-by-design in coordination with CISA. Priced at parity with European and Japanese imports, without the ocean freight or the tariffs.

Why Port Cranes of America

A domestic source for the machines that move American cargo

American-built

Fabricated, assembled and load-tested in Louisiana, on a Build America, Buy America (BABA) compliance track for publicly funded port projects.

Proven design

Engineered by a design team with 40 years on STS, RTG and RMG port cranes — not a prototype.

Close to your terminal

Gulf Coast terminals are a drive from our shops, not an ocean away. The people who build your crane commission and service it.

The RTG 50 LT

Engineered for the modern container yard

A rigid, stable steel structure for precise handling and smooth movement at speed, with AC frequency control on every motion and a self-powered trolley with integrated hoist for precise positioning.
